Tere Ishk Mein teaser: Dhanush, Kriti Sanon’s next promises intense love saga

The much-anticipated teaser of Tere Ishk Mein, starring Kriti Sanon and Dhanush, has finally dropped, and it is already creating a massive buzz.

The teaser opens with Kriti’s character Mukti at her wedding ceremony, and she looks totally shaken at the sudden arrival of a bruised Dhanush, who plays Shankar. Coming straight from his father’s funeral to Mukti’s wedding, he pours Ganga jal on Mukti, calling it a way to wash away her sins. He says, “Nayi zindagi shuru kar rahi hai, pehle puraane paap to dho le.”

It then takes us back to the duo’s early days of romance, packed with passion, obsession and even borderline violence. While Dhanush whips a miscreant, Kriti surprises with her intense role, drinking and smoking. In one particular scene, the two exchange devious smiles, hinting at a love saga like never before.

Towards the end, the clip gets more intense as Dhanush’s Shanakar curses Mukti to give birth to a boy, as according to him, it would make her realise what men go through after their hearts are broken. In his words, “Shankar kare tere bhi ek beta ho, tujhe bhi pata chale ishq me jo mar jaate hai... wo bhi kisi ke bete hote hain.”

Kriti shared the teaser on Instagram with a note that read, “Ishk karte toh bahut hain, ab Tere Ishk Mein mitne ki tayyari hai… Welcome to the grand world of Shankar and Mukti - in cinemas worldwide on 28th November, in Hindi and Tamil.”

Backed by T-Series, Colour Yellow, Aanand L Rai, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Himanshu Sharma, Tere Ishk Mein is set to release in theatres on November 28, 2025, in both Hindi and Tamil.

Interestingly, the film marks Dhanush and director Aanand L Rai’s reunion four years after their last collaboration, Atrangi Re and 12 years after their hit romantic drama Raanjhanaa. Just like Raanjhanaa, the upcoming romance revolves around the themes of love, heartbreak and betrayal.
