Air India is enhancing its services to the United Kingdom as part of its Northern Winter 2025 schedule, which includes the launch of a fourth daily flight between Delhi and London Heathrow, effective October
26, 2025.
The addition increases the airline’s frequency on the high-demand Delhi–London route from 24 to 28 weekly flights , adding 1,196 seats in each direction per week. All flights on the route will be operated using Air widebody fleet, comprising the Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Air India is the largest carrier between India and the United Kingdom, with 61 weekly flights and a total seat capacity of 18,066 per week in one direction — translating to nearly 1.7 million seats annually. The airline connects five major Indian cities, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Amritsar with three destinations in the UK, London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and Birmingham.
With the new addition, the Delhi-London route will now feature two daily flights operated on Airbus A350-900 and two on the Boeing 787-9. Both aircraft types feature three-class configurations: Business class, premium economy, and economy.
