The Family McMullen – October 15

This Edward Burns directorial is a poignant comedy-drama that follows the close-knit McMullen family, who face life's challenges with grit and humour. The cast includes Edward Burns, Connie Britton, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Halston Sage.

Frankenstein – October 17

Guillermo del Toro and Jacob Elordi's highly anticipated film, Frankenstein, will make a brief appearance in theatres. The film will highlight how creations can lead to one's downfall by following the lives of an odd monster created by a skilled scientist.

The Mastermind – October 17

The Kelly Reichardt-directed movie revolves around a suburban family father, who has a double life as an art thief who steals Arthur Dove paintings. It is inspired by the Worcester Art Museum heist in Massachusetts in 1972, where two Gauguins, a Picasso, and a Rembrandt were stolen.

Good Fortune – October 17

The story revolves around an angel who loses his wings after failing a holy assignment and becomes the human roommate to the man he was meant to help. The Aziz Ansari-directed supernatural English comedy features Sandra Oh, Keanu Reeves, Seth Rogen, and Keke Palmer.

Truth & Treason – October 17

Based on a real-life incident, the movie follows a teenage boy and his companions as they establish a resistance group to combat injustice in Nazi Germany. Ewan Horrocks, Ferdinand McKay, Daf Thomas, Nye Occomore, and Rupert Evans are to star in the Matt Whitaker-directed Hollywood drama.

Black Phone 2 – October 17

Four years after the events of the 2021 movie The Black Phone, a family is haunted by deeper horrors, haunted voices, and new visions. The cast of this supernatural horror English include Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies, and Demian Bichir.

The Pet Detective – October 16


Anupama Parameshwaran and Sharafudheen play the key roles in a crime comedy in which a pet detective and his ladylove get caught up in illegal scenarios. The editing of this Malayalam romantic comedy was done by Abhinav Sunder Nayak, director of Mukundan Unni Associates.

Theatre: The Myth of Reality – October 16

Biriyaani filmmaker Sajin Baabu's most recent film, which stars Rima Kallingal, is rumoured to contain aspects of magical realism. The Rima Kallingal and Sarasa Balussery starrer also looks at how women fight against cultural and societal restrictions. Moreover, the film also earned Kallingal the Kerala Film Critics' award for Best Actress.

Diesel – October 17

The Tamil action-thriller centres on an illegal fuel racket, underworld activities, and business competition, starring Harish Kalyan, Vinay Rai, and Athulyaa Ravi. It also illustrates how the sale and storage of diesel pose global issues.

Mithra Mandali – October 16

The Telugu comedy centres on a politician's daughter and an odd group of friends, who form a romantic relationship that leads to a funny series of mishaps. The Vijayender S-directed film stars Niharika NM, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, VTV Ganesh, Vennela Kishore, Satya, and Rag Mayur.

Bison: Kaalamaadan – October 17

The narrative centres on a young man from a small rural village who decides to pursue a career in kabaddi over the violence that surrounds him. Bison serves as Dhruv Vikram's first collaboration with director Mari Selvaraj. The film also stars Anupama Parameshwaran as the female lead.

Telusu Kada – October 17

This Telugu romantic comedy adopts a unique approach to highlight the passion and friendship between two people. The cast includes Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Raashii Khanna, Srinidhi Shetty, Harsha Chemudu, and Ravi Mariya.
