Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:

The Nifty index is up from where it left off yesterday, with an uptick of over 50 points. The Sensex is up nearly 200 points, with the value of the index rising towards the 82,000 mark. The Nifty has moved past key resistance levels and is close to another one on its weekly expiry day, before it aims to retrace the entire fall it had from the September 18 highs of 25,448.

The index closed above its 50% retracement of its recent fall, and the next level to watch on the upside is the 61.8% retracement of the fall.

When we look at Nifty Bank is up nearly 200 points, remaining over the 55,000 milestone mark. The broader markets are trading on par and in a relatively better position than the frontline indices.

In addition to these developents, another large IPO, the ₹11,607 crore issue of LG Electronics India, also opens for subscription today.
