Akshaye Khanna’s first look as Shukracharya in 'Mahakali' revealed

The first look of Akshaye Khanna from the upcoming Tollywood film Mahakali is out, showing the actor in the role of Shukracharya, the guru of the asuras. The poster depicts Khanna standing amidst cosmic chaos, with stormy cliffs and fiery backdrops highlighting the intensity of the setting.

Written, conceptualised, and created by Prasanth Varma, Mahakali is directed by Puja Kolluru and produced by RKD Studios, RK Duggal, and Riwaz Duggal. The film’s technical team includes Suresh Ragutu as cinematographer, Smaran Sai as music composer, and Sri Nagendra Tangala as production designer.  Filming is slated to wrap by December, with the release date to be announced soon.

The film marks the third instalment in Prasanth Varma’s cinematic universe (PVCU).

The PVCU is a shared cinematic universe created by director Prasanth Varma, known for its integration of Indian mythology with modern superhero

elements. The universe began with Hanu-Man in 2024, which introduced audiences to a mythological superhero inspired by Lord Hanuman. The second upcoming instalment, Adhira, continues to expand the universe with new characters and narratives.
