Egypt Peace Summit Live Updates: United States President Donald Trump arrived in Israel's capital Tel Aviv on Monday, Oct 13 as the US brokered Israel-Hamas ceasefire and peace agreement to stop the war in Gaza holds steady. Hamas released all the 20 living Israeli hostages.
Following the condition of the deal, Hamas released the first set of living Israeli hostages and handed over seven people to the Red Cross team in Gaza Strip. A few hours later, the group released the remaining 13 Israelis as well, after holding them hostage for over two years since Oct 7, 2023.
Trump was welcomed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog along with their spouses at the Ben Gurion Airport.

Egypt is hosting the Gaza peace summit in Sharm El-Sheikh which will be co-chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Trump.
