Muse, one of Britain's biggest rock exports, will bring their signature blend of symphonic ambition, electronic chaos, and cinematic storytelling to India for the first time. With anthems like ‘Uprising’, ‘Starlight’ and ‘Knights of Cydonia’, the band is famous for its stadium-shaking visuals and explosive energy and its debut promises to be an unmissable spectacle.
Muse will co-headline the festival with the Train, the Grammy-winning, legendary pop-rock band, who are likely to perform their timeless hits ‘Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)’, ‘Hey, Soul Sister’ and ‘Drive By’. With more than 30 million tracks sold worldwide, the band is sure to bring a set filled with both nostalgia and euphoria, promising a memorable show.
Other notable acts include Australia’s progressive rock titans Karnivool, Scribe, Girish and the Chronicles, Pinkshift, James and the Cold Gun, and The Sophs. The festival will also showcase some of India's most dynamic voices - artists, including Sen, Mali, Tejas, Sahil x Tariq Vasudeva, The Lightyears Explode, and Komodo Jane.
“With Bandland, we set out to create more than a festival - we wanted to build a cultural space where people could rediscover what rock truly stands for. This year, as Bandland grows beyond Bengaluru with Bandland on Tour, we’re not just scaling an IP, we’re expanding a home for everyone who finds a part of themselves in this music,” said Naman Pugalia, Chief Business Officer - Live Events, BookMyShow, explaining the philosophy behind the festival.
This year, Bandland is extending its footprint across India with "Bandland on Tour," a new initiative that will bring marquee acts to new stages. The first act under this banner is Tom Morello, who will perform in Gurugram, Mumbai, and Bengaluru in December, with many more genre-defining acts yet to come.
