In a post on X on Monday, Yash Raj Films shared the poster along with the powerful devotional chant of Aigiri Nandini, dedicated to the goddess Durga. The chant celebrates Durga's immense power and her victory over the demon Mahishasura.
The imagery is meant to draw a parallel between the goddess's epic battle and Shivani's upcoming fight. Like Durga, Shivani will need all her resolve and courage to face a darker, grittier, and more dangerous case. Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is all set to hit theatres on February 27, 2026.
The caption for the poster read, “On the auspicious Day 1 of Navratri, here's to celebrating the victory of good over evil. #RaniMukerji returns as top cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 3 to investigate the most challenging case of her career. #Mardaani3 in cinemas 27th February, 2026.”
The new poster features a close-up shot of Mukerji's hand holding a black handgun, pointing downwards. The blurred background shows a yellow police barricade with the words “DELHI POLICE”.
