The film stars actor-turned-politicianPawan Kalyan in the titular role of Ojas Gambheera, alongside Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi in his Telugu debut as the antagonist, Omi Bhau. Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainment, the film is being hailed as one of the biggest Telugu releases of 2025.
But fans were disappointed when the trailer release was delayed. Scheduled to release on Sunday, the makers have now announced a delay. Addressing the delay during the film’s pre-release event, Kalyan admitted, “There is still a DI issue, but then I forced the makers to play the trailer here for you.”
Initially, it was scheduled for a 10:08 am release today, but it was postponed to release at the pre-release event ‘OG Concert’. DVV Entertainment made the announcement with an 11-second clip on X, writing, “Ok Ok. Music starts in replies and quotes… . OG Trailer will be released today at the OG Concert event.”

But it saw a further delay and was only shown to attendees at a pre-release concert, leading to fan frustration. The movie's production company has still not released the trailer to the general public online.
Kalyan attempted to ease the disappointment by quoting his Jalsa dialogue, “Sanjay Sahoo ki yedi antha suluva raadu. Similarly, nothing comes easy to Pawan Kalyan. Sometimes it’s censors, some other times it’s something else,” reported Cinema Express.
Following the concert, some attendees recorded the unfinished version and leaked it online, adding to the messy situation. As of today, the film's team has not provided a new official release date for the trailer, which has angered fans just days before the movie's theatrical release on September 25.
The event, held in Hyderabad's Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium, attracted around 40,000 spectators.
“They Call Him OG’ full trailer with clear visuals & audio. Only for fans who are waiting from morning," a user wrote, sharing a clip on X.
