Nifty 50 is trading in the red for the fifth consecutive trade session.

Today is also the weekly expiry of the BSE contracts.

BSE is also in focus after CNBC-TV18 reported that SEBI has begun consultation with shareholders with regards to weekly expiries and other aspects.

Some Pharma stocks such as Glenmark, IPCA Labs and Poly Medicure will be in focus today with regards to their respective newsflow.

Three stocks will also see their shareholder lock-in end today, while Polycab may see a block deal.
