Pune-based automaker Force Motors Ltd on October 5 reported a marginal year-on-year rise in sales for September 2025. The company’s total sales stood at 2,610 units, up 1.79% compared to 2,564 units during the same period last year.
While domestic sales rose 1.5% to 2,486, exports showed improvement, increasing 7.8% to 124 units from 115 units in September 2024.

The company’s total
(domestic + export) sales reflected a steady uptick across categories, including small commercial vehicles (SCVs), light commercial vehicles (LCVs), utility vehicles (UVs), and SUVs.
Force Motors Q1 FY26 results
Earlier in July, Force Motors reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26). The automaker’s net profit surged 52.3% year-on-year to ₹176.3 crore, compared to ₹115.7 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue from operations climbed 21.9% to ₹2,297 crore from ₹1,885 crore in Q1 FY25. At the operating level, EBITDA jumped 33.3% to ₹332 crore, while EBITDA margin improved to 14.4% from 13.2% a year ago, reflecting robust cost efficiency and higher volumes.

September 2025, thanks to the onset of the festive season and impact of GST 2.0 reforms fuelled strong momentum in the Indian automobile industry. Thanks to reduced GST, several automakers reporting double-digit growth and record-breaking sales. Every category, from passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, tractors and commercial vehicles, saw an uptick in demand, supported by customer sentiment and robust exports.
Mahindra & Mahindra recently reported a 16% year-on-year increase in overall automobile sales to 1,00,298 units in September. In the passenger vehicles segment, the company said its utility vehicles dispatch to dealers surged 10% year-on-year to 56,233 units in the domestic market last month, as against 51,062 units in the year-ago period.
Exports witnessed a handsome of 43% rise year-on-year to 4,320 units in September, as against 3,020 units a year ago, the Mumbai-based automaker said in a statement.
