What is the story about?
NDR InvIT Trust
, the country’s first listed warehousing and industrial park infrastructure investment trust, has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of a Grade-A warehousing facility in Lucknow.
The asset, spread across roughly 21 acres in Mohanlalganj along the Lucknow-Raebareli Road (NH 30), has been purchased for ₹143.9 crore. Nearly 98% of the 4.63 lakh sq. ft. of leasable space is currently occupied by tenants across sectors such as retail, paints, fast-moving consumer durables, and third-party logistics.
The move marks NDR InvIT’s first foray into the Lucknow logistics market—an area increasingly viewed as a growing consumption hub for North India. The corridor has seen heightened interest from warehousing and e-commerce players over the past few years, driven by improved highway connectivity and demand from expanding Tier-2 city supply chains.
“The acquisition of the Lucknow MLG Warehouse marks a significant milestone in our journey to build a truly national logistics network,” said N Amrutesh Reddy, Director, NDR InvIT. “Lucknow serves as a key distribution hub for North India, and this investment reinforces our focus on high-growth markets.”
NDR InvIT, listed on the NSE, has been scaling its warehousing footprint across India through a series of acquisitions of income-generating assets.
