Mishra Dhatu Nigam order book nears ₹2,000 cr with latest ₹136 cr win
Metals and metal alloys manufacturer, Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd (MIDHANI) has secured a significant order worth ₹136 crore, taking its open order book to around ₹1,983 crore as of date.
The announcement comes after the company’s shares closed at ₹407.50 on the NSE, up 1.74%, reflecting positive investor sentiment.
MIDHANI reported a strong Q1FY26 performance, with profit after tax soaring 145% to ₹12.96 crore from ₹5.3 crore a year ago. Revenue rose 4% to ₹170.5 crore, up from ₹163.5 crore in Q1FY25.
The company’s EBITDA jumped 46% to ₹34.18 crore, compared with ₹23.35 crore previously, while margins expanded to 20.05% from 14.28% in the same quarter last year.
Finance costs declined 10% to ₹6.17 crore, and other income stood at ₹7.11 crore, marginally down from ₹7.77 crore.
For FY26, N. Gowri Sankara Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of Mishra Dhatu Nigam (MIDHANI), told CNBC-TV18 earlier this year, that the company anticipates higher production orders—particularly from the Naval and Aerospace sectors—expected to drive an increase in turnover.
