Kahani and Kunal Merchant founded Indo Warehouse, which is recognised for being the forerunner of Indo House, a genre-bending style that blends contemporary electronic music with South Asian rhythm and melody.
“Returning to India isn't just another tour - it's a homecoming,” said co-founder Kunal Merchant in an official release. “Everywhere we go in the world, we see the South Asian diaspora craving a sound that feels like them. Bringing this energy back to where our stories began is the most meaningful way to end the year,” he added.
When will Indo Warehouse perform?
In collaboration with Team Innovation and Sunburn, this tour marks Indo Warehouse's first India event since their sold-out debut tour in January 2024. The tour will include shows in Delhi-NCR on December 13, Hyderabad on December 19, Mumbai on December 20 and Goa on December 28.
“India has always been our heartbeat. Every drum, every vocal sample, every feeling in our music is rooted in where we come from,” said co-founder Kahani.
“To bring the Indo Warehouse experience back here after seeing it connect with people from London to Ibiza is surreal. This tour isn't about us. It's about showing what's possible when culture leads the sound,” Kahani added.
They have performed with famous DJ Black Coffee in Singapore, sold out the Roundhouse in London, and became the first South Asian electronic music group to play at Coachella. During the summer, they also performed at Hi Ibiza, did a Boiler Room set and played at F1 Singapore, all with sold-out shows.
Mohit Bijlani, founder of Team Innovation, said, “We are immensely proud to partner with Sunburn to bring Indo Warehouse. Their innovative sound and visionary experiences are precisely what the Indian music landscape needs. This tour will certainly be a landmark event, showcasing extraordinary South Asian talent.”
Karan Singh, CEO of Sunburn, added, “We believed in Indo Warehouse's vision from the start. Bringing them back home isn't just another tour; it' a celebration of how far our culture has come and where it's headed next.”
