Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), the Navratna defence PSU, announced on Wednesday, October 15, that it has received fresh orders worth ₹592 crore since its last disclosure on September 29, 2025.
The orders
cover a wide range of defence and technology solutions, including tank subsystems and overhauling, communication equipment, combat management systems, ship data networks, train collision avoidance systems (Kavach), laser dazzlers, jammers, upgrades, spares, and related services.
Earlier, on September 16, BEL reported additional orders worth ₹712 crore, spanning IT infrastructure, cybersecurity solutions, electronic support measures, blockchain platforms, communication equipment, spares, and services. The company had also disclosed fresh orders of ₹644 crore on September 1.
Bharat Electronics Q1 results
The company also reported its Q1 FY26 results last month. Revenue grew 5.2% year-on-year to ₹4,417 crore, slightly below CNBC-TV18’s estimate of ₹4,812 crore. EBITDA, however, surged 32.2% to ₹1,240.4 crore, surpassing the poll estimate of ₹1,178 crore. BEL’s EBITDA margin expanded to 28.1% from 22.3% a year ago, reflecting strong execution and a favourable product mix.
Shares of Bharat Electronics Ltd ended higher on Wednesday, October 15, by 1.48% at ₹408.35 on the NSE.
