Seven-time Grammy Award-winning artist John Mayer will perform in India for the first time on January 22, 2026, with a one-night-only concert at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse.
The show is being brought to the country by BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment division of BookMyShow.
With this, Mayer becomes the latest entrant to the list of international artists who are set to perform in India next January, which includes rock legends Linkin Park and prog metal titans Dream Theater.
"India has long been on my list of places to play, not just for the vibrancy of its culture but for the way music lives in the everyday lives of people here. To finally perform in Mumbai feels both humbling and exhilarating," said Mayer.
Tickets for the concert will open with an exclusive RuPay pre-sale on October 12, 2025, at 12 pm, followed by a general on-sale on October 14, 2025, at 1 pm. All tickets will be available exclusively on BookMyShow.
With a career spanning more than two decades, Mayer has sold over 20 million albums and delivered timeless tracks such as "Gravity," "Daughters," "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room," "Your Body Is a Wonderland," "Waiting On the World to Change" and "New Light." He has also collaborated with artists including Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Ed Sheeran and Alicia Keys.
