Egypt Peace Summit Live Updates: United States President Donald Trump arrived in Israel's capital Tel Aviv on Monday, Oct 13 as the US brokered Israel-Hamas ceasefire and peace agreement to stop the war in Gaza holds steady.

Following the condition of the deal, Hamas released the first set of living Israeli hostages and handed over seven people to the Red Cross team in Gaza Strip.

Trump was welcomed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog along with their spouses at the Ben Gurion Airport.

Trump emerged from the US Air Force One aircraft alone, pumped his fist, smiled, and then descended the stairs.

Egypt is hosting the Gaza peace summit in Sharm El-Sheikh which will be co-chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Trump. Over 20 world leaders are expected to attend the summit, including United Nations General Secretary Antonio Guterres, UK PM Keir Starmer, and French President Emmanuel Macron among others.

Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs Ministry, Kirti Vardhan Singh, will be representing India at the peace summit.
