Axiscades bags Indian Army order for man-portable counter-drone systems
AXISCADES Technologies on Monday said its wholly owned subsidiary, AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies, has won an order from the Indian Army to supply man-portable counter-drone systems (MPCDS).
The deal marks one of the first such procurements after Operation Sindhoor under emergency purchase provisions, highlighting the Army’s push to strengthen frontline protection against unmanned aerial threats.
The system, according to the company, is capable of detecting drones up to 5 km away and blocking their signals across a wide frequency spectrum.
Despite its advanced features, the unit is designed to remain lightweight and portable, allowing easy deployment by soldiers in the field.
