Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd (SWREL) has secured three new Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) orders worth approximately ₹1,772 crore, further strengthening its position as one of India’s leading renewable EPC firms.
In a stock exchange filing, the company said it has been declared the L1 bidder for two domestic solar EPC projects — a 363 MWp DC project in Rajasthan and a 580 MWp DC project in Uttar Pradesh. Both these projects are on a Balance of System (BOS) basis.
In addition, the company has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for a 115 MWp DC solar project in South Africa, valued at around $120 million. This marks Sterling and Wilson’s third major project in South Africa, with the earlier two progressing as per schedule.
With these wins, SWREL’s total EPC order inflows for the current fiscal have crossed ₹3,775 crore. Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy, part of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group, provides EPC solutions for utility-scale solar, hybrid, energy storage, and wind projects. The company has an installed and under-construction portfolio of over 24.4 GWp globally and manages an O&M portfolio of 9.1 GWp.
The shares of the company ended 7.5% in the red on Friday. The stock has fallen over 50% in the year so far.
