PM Modi to flag off 3 new trains, including Vande Bharat, from Rajasthan: All about them

In a major boost to rail connectivity in Rajasthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off three new trains in the state on Thursday, September 25. These trains, including two Vande Bharat Express trains, will significantly enhance the connection between Rajasthan and the other northern states.

These trains include the Vande Bharat Express between Bikaner & Delhi Cantt, the Vande Bharat Express between Jodhpur & Delhi Cantt and the Udaipur City – Chandigarh Express.

Bikaner to Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express

On Thursday, Train No. 04751, the first Vande Bharat Express special between Bikaner and Delhi Cantt, will depart Bikaner at 14:30 and arrive at Delhi Cantt at 21:05. This first special train will make stops at Shri Dungargarh, Ratanagadh, Churu, Sadulpur, Loharu, Mahendragarh, and Gurgaon. The special train will have seven air-conditioned chair car coaches and one executive air-conditioned chair coach.

The regular train, No. 26471/22472, the Bikaner-Delhi Cantt-Bikaner Vande Bharat Express, will run six days a week (excluding Wednesdays) from Bikaner to Delhi Cantt and vice versa beginning September 28, 2025.

Jodhpur to Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express

On Thursday, train number 04861, the first special Vande Bharat Express from Jodhpur to Delhi Cantt, will depart Jodhpur at 14:30, arrive at Jaipur station at 19:05, depart Jaipur at 19:10, and arrive at Delhi Cantt. at 23:10.

This special train would stop at Medwa Road, Degana, Makrana, Phulera, Jaipur, Alwar, Rewari, and Gurgaon stations. It will have seven AC Chair Car coaches and one Executive Chair Car coach.

The regular train, train number 26481/26482, the Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt-Jodhpur Vande Bharat Express, will run six days a week (excluding Tuesdays) from Jodhpur to Delhi Cantt. Beginning September 27, and from Delhi Cantt. to Jodhpur beginning September 27.

The chair car price from Jodhpur to Delhi Cantt is ₹1,610, while the executive coach fare is ₹2,930. The return rates are somewhat lower at ₹1,555 for chair car and ₹2,880 for executive.

Udaipur City to Chandigarh Express

On Thursday, train 09671, the Udaipur City-Chandigarh Inaugural Special, will leave Udaipur City at 14:30, arrive at Jaipur station at 21:25, depart from Jaipur at 21:35, and arrive in Chandigarh at 08:15 the next day. Similarly, train 09672, the Chandigarh-Udaipur City Inaugural Special, will depart Chandigarh at 11:20 on September 26, arrive at Jaipur station at 21:15, depart from Jaipur at 21:25, and arrive in Udaipur City at 05:25 the next day.

This train will stop at Ranapratapnagar, Mavli, Kapasan, Chandariya, Bhilwara, Bijainagar, Ajmer, Kishanganj, Phulera, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Rajgarh, Alwar, Rewari, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Jind, Narwana, Kaithal, Kurukshetra, and Ambala Cantt stations.

This train will include two Second AC coaches, six Third AC coaches, two Third AC Economy coaches, six Second Sleeper coaches, four General Class coaches, one power car, and one guard's van, for a total of 22 coaches.

The regular train, number 20989/20990, the Udaipur City-Chandigarh-Udaipur City Bi-weekly Superfast Express, would begin service from Udaipur City to Chandigarh on September 27 and from Chandigarh to Udaipur City on September 28.

PM to visit Rajasthan today

PM Modi will visit Rajasthan on September 25, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth ₹1,22,100 crore. He will also address a public function at Banswara at around 1:45 pm, as well as interact with PM Kusum beneficiaries.
