Emkay Global Financial Services on Monday (September 22) announced that industry veteran Kirti Doshi has acquired a 21% stake in the company. Doshi has invested ₹227.5 crore through Antique Securities, the company said in a press release. Doshi is a veteran with nearly five decades of experience in capital markets.
"I am privileged to invest in Emkay, a company that has consistently demonstrated integrity, client focus, and resilience for over 30 years. Together with the founders, and with the support of the management, we look forward to building stronger businesses, leveraging innovation, and creating enduring value for all stakeholders," Kirti Doshi said.
The financial services company's promoters, Co-Founders Krishna Kumar Karwa and Prakash Kacholia, said, "Over three decades, Emkay has grown with deep trust, resilience, and customer commitment. We are delighted to welcome Mr Kirti Doshi. He brings unmatched industry expertise and strategic foresight, which will be invaluable as we strengthen our leadership and prepare for the next phase of growth."
The shares of the company ended over ₹52 higher at ₹312.57 apiece on the BSE on Monday (Sept 22).
