CRED partners with ixigo for flight bookings on its newly launched IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card

ixigo, India’s AI-driven travel platform, has partnered with CRED to enable flight bookings for the newly launched CRED IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card.

The partnership allows cardholders to book flights within the CRED app, leveraging ixigo’s flight inventory and booking technology. The integration aims to simplify the flight booking process for users and provide real-time updates on check-ins, gates, baggage, and other travel logistics.

CRED’s Product and Growth lead, Akshay Aedula, highlighted that the flights product allows members to book trips worldwide while using the app as a personal travel assistant, tracking key travel information seamlessly.

ixigo has previously introduced several AI-powered features in its flight segment, including:

• TARA: AI-driven customer support.


• ixigo Assured Flex: Fully modifiable and refundable tickets.


• Price Lock: Ability to lock fares for a small fee.


• Flight Tracker Pro: Real-time updates on delays, terminals, gates, check-in counters, and baggage belts.

Nitin Gurha, SVP of ixigo’s Flight & Hotel Business, said the collaboration will enhance convenience and flexibility for users, particularly for frequent and occasional travellers.

Launched in 2007, ixigo (Le Travenues Technology Limited) offers travel solutions across trains, buses, flights, hotels, and cabs.

Its apps—including ixigo, ConfirmTkt, and AbhiBus—serve over 54 crore annual active users as of FY25, leveraging AI and crowd-sourced information to optimize travel planning and booking.
