The Hindi version contributed ₹ 11 crore while the Kannada version added ₹ 13 crore to the total. Despite the usual weekday slowdown, the film has continued to show remarkable stability, thanks to strong word-of-mouth from both fans and critics.
Kantara Chapter 1 has found huge success not only in Karnataka but also in the Hindi-speaking markets, where it has collected ₹ 93.25 crore in just six days and indeed, it is a rare feat for a Kannada film. Meanwhile, its Kannada collection stands at ₹ 89.35 crore, proving how the movie’s emotional core has connected with viewers across the region.
Upon its release on October 2, the film opened to a whopping ₹ 61.85 crore, making it one of the biggest openers of the year.
