ITC Hotels Q2 Results: Net profit jumps 74% to ₹133 crore; margin expands from last year

Shares of ITC Hotels Ltd. are trading lower after the company reported its numbers for the September quarter (Q2FY26).

The hospitality major's net profit jumped 74% year-on-year to ₹133 crore, compared with ₹77 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue for the quarter rose 8% year-on-year to ₹839.5 crore from ₹778 crore.

Operating profit (EBITDA) grew 15.7% year-on-year to ₹245.7 crore, while EBITDA margin expanded to 29.3% from 27.3% a year ago.

ITC Hotels on Wednesday announced that it has opened a Welcomhotel in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, featuring convention facilities along with 98 rooms & suites. The 18-acre property is poised to redefine Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism in the state, ITC Hotels said.

Located nearly 12 km from Gaya International Airport, Welcomhotel Bodh Gaya provides easy access for both domestic and international travellers, the company said.

Meanwhile, ITC Hotels is exploring opportunities in branded residences, CNBC-TV18 had reported earlier, the company has received interest from developers and is evaluating how it can extend its trusted brand into luxury living spaces.

Chadha highlighted the potential in this segment: "I think it's a tremendous opportunity, the movement has just begun, in terms of luxury living and luxury can be at all levels; it’s very personal choice of luxury."

He added that the company’s expertise in cuisine, wellness, and sustainable practices could bring significant value to developers and home buyers alike.
