Tata Motors has upgraded its Nexon compact SUV with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), further strengthening its safety credentials. Alongside, the company has launched a new Red Dark edition,

The Nexon, India’s highest-selling car in September 2025 with 22,573 units, already holds dual 5-star safety ratings from Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP. The ADAS package includes Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Centering System, and High Beam Assist—designed to prevent collisions and support safer driving.
The updated lineup introduces the Fearless+ PS DCA ADAS variant at ₹13.53 lakh (ex-showroom), along with the Red Dark edition across all powertrains. Engine options include a 1.2-litre turbo petrol (120PS/170Nm), 1.2-litre turbo petrol + CNG (100PS/170Nm), and 1.5-litre diesel (115PS/260Nm), paired with 5-speed and 6-speed MT, 6-speed AMT, and DCA transmissions depending on the variant.

The Red Dark edition features cosmetic upgrades including Atlas Black with red accents, dark mascot with red lettering, piano black grille surrounds, roof rails, skid plates, and interiors with Granite Black and red stitching, ventilated leatherette seats, diamond quilting, and dark-embroidered headrests.
Tata Passenger Electric Mobility CCO Vivek Srivatsa said, “Since its debut in 2017, the Nexon has redefined the SUV segment with bold design, performance, and uncompromised safety. Becoming India’s No. 1 selling car in September 2025 reflects the trust and preference of customers nationwide.”
With ADAS-equipped variants and the Red Dark edition, Tata strengthens the Nexon portfolio, which competes with Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV300 in the compact SUV segment.
