Bengaluru Weather: Heavy rain in Bengaluru has disrupted flight schedules and road traffic. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow
alert for August 5, warning of intense rain. The downpour has brought back the familiar issues of clogged roads, bumper-to-bumper traffic, and waterlogged streets. SpiceJet has announced that flights may be affected due to the bad weather in the city. “#WeatherUpdate: Due to bad weather (heavy rain) in Bengaluru (BLR), all departures/arrivals and their consequential flights may get affected. Passengers are requested to check their flight status via spicejet.com/#status,” the airline posted on X (formerly Twitter). IndiGo also posted on X: “It is pouring steadily across #Bengaluru, and several key routes are already being affected. This could mean longer, slower journeys to the airport.” Also Read: Bengaluru: Namma Metro Yellow Line Not Opening on August 10?
