Mumbai Teen Dies in Fall From 23rd Floor

Mumbai: Tragedy struck early Thursday morning at the Oberoi Square complex in Goregaon East, Mumbai, as a 17-year-old girl died after jumping from the 23rd

floor of the building. The Class XI student reportedly leapt from the C wing of the residential tower.

Second Incident at Same Complex This Month

According to police, this is the second such incident at Oberoi Square within a month. Earlier, a male student from the A wing of the complex had died under similar circumstances, raising concerns among residents about safety in the high-rise towers.

Officers from Aarey Colony police station have registered a case of accidental death. An investigation is currently ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the girl’s death. Police are examining the site and speaking to witnesses to understand the events leading up to the incident.
