Modi Visit to Bangalore: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bengaluru for his four hour on Sunday, August 10. He will land at HAL Airport
at 10:30 am and travel by helicopter and road to KSR Bengaluru railway station. There, he will flag off three Vande Bharat Express trains: KSR Bengaluru-Belagavi, Amritsar-Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katri, and Ajni (Nagpur)-Pune, according to a media report. Next, he will travel by road to Ragigudda metro station on the Yellow Line. Between 11:45 am and 12:50 pm, he will take the metro from Ragigudda to Electronics City. At 12:50 pm, he will go by road from Electronics City metro station to the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bengaluru in Electronics City Phase 1. At IIITB, he will inaugurate the Yellow Line and lay the foundation stone for Phase 3 of the Namma Metro. After that, he will take a helicopter back to HAL Airport and fly to Delhi at 2:45 pm, reported Deccan Herald. Because many important people and citizens will attend the metro inauguration, the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has announced traffic and parking restrictions.
