The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC conducts the Combined Services Examination every year. The selection is done on the basis of aspirants' performance

When are hall tickets released?
UPSC releases hall tickets almost 10 days ahead of the exam. In the notification it was mentioned that the hall tickets will be released on the last day of the proceeding week. Since August 15th is national holiday, candidates can expect their admit cards by August 14. - On homepage, look for latest news section
- Click on the link that reads 'UPSC CSE Mains admit card'
- On redirected page, enter your registration number and password/DOB
- Admit card will open up on screen
- Go through the same and download it
Are Watches Allowed in UPSC Civil Services Main Exam?
Another most asked question is weather candidates can carry watches to the exam hall. Following the advisory issued by the UPSC for Prelims exam, candidates are allowed to use normal or simple wrist watches inside the examination rooms/ halls.
However, candidates MUST know that the use of watches fitted with any special accessory that might be used as communication device or smart watches is strictly prohibited. There will also not be any provision made by the Commission to store such watches safely for aspirants while they attempt the exam. What After UPSC Mains?
Almost 50 days after conducting the Mains exam, UPSC releases the result. The PDF includes the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. Those candidates are then called for interview round. Candidates should know that it is mandatory to clear the interview round to mark a place in recommended candidates list.
