Delhi News: Delhi-NCR reported relatively less fog on Tuesday morning compared to the dense conditions witnessed on Monday. Although the India Meteorological
Department (IMD) had forecast dense fog, visibility remained largely clear. However, the city shivered as the minimum temperature dipped to 10°C overnight. The national capital continues to grapple with toxic air, prompting authorities to enforce Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) Stage 4. The overall AQI in Delhi today recorded at 387 early Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Delhi Airport fight status on Monday saw a massive hit, with over 200 trips cancelling due to runway visibility dropping to nearly zero.
Delhi AQI Today and GRAP 4
GRAP 4 has imposed restrictions on several activities in the capital, including construction work and the entry of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) registered outside Delhi. While schools (check school status) have been advised to adopt a hybrid mode to safeguard children’s health, offices have been directed to implement a 50% work-from-home policy. The objective is to minimize outdoor movement unless absolutely necessary.

Delhi Airport Flight Status
A total of 220 flights were reported to be disrupted due to the low visibility on the runway on Monday. Meanwhile, 5 flights were diverted to other cities as the dense fog posed a challenge to make a safe landing. Following this, thousands of people supposed to take their flights from various airlines, including IndiGo, were left disappointed at the airport.
