The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration portal for the submission of preferred bank account details for the processing of fee refunds
for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) today, May 27, 2026, by 11:50 PM. Candidates who wish to seek a refund can log in to the online portal and submit their bank details to receive reimbursements. Candidates may also upload a cancelled cheque, if they so desire, to ensure the accuracy of bank account details. After submission of the details by the candidate, the same shall be treated as final, and no further changes shall be permitted thereafter. Candidates have been advised not to initiate a chargeback for the NEET UG 2026 examination. NTA also allowed NEET UG 2026 aspirants to change their preferred city of examination on account of a change in their present address by visiting the official website of NTA: neet.nta.nic.in till May 21, 2026. The agency further informed the candidates that the examination centres are allotted based on the city selected by the candidates. Therefore, the examination centre allotted for the re-examination may not necessarily be the same as the earlier centre. According to the official schedule, NTA will issue the admit cards for Re-NEET UG by June 14, 2026. The examination is scheduled to take place on June 21, 2026, from 2 PM to 5:15 PM. An additional 15 minutes are being provided for completion of documentation, verification, and other examination-related formalities. Candidates must carry their hall tickets along with a valid ID proof to the exam hall for entry. “It is informed that the medium of examination selected by the candidate during submission of the application form earlier is fixed and cannot be changed at this stage. Candidates may refer to Para 6 (ix) of Chapter 4 of the Information Bulletin of NEET (UG)-2026 regarding the available medium options and corresponding States/locations,” the official notice states.
