New Delhi: As the conflict in the Middle East entered Day 19, IndiGo on Wednesday (March 18) resumed its flight operations between Dubai and India. The
airline in its X post confirmed that its operations resumed at 16:00 hours (DXB local time) on Wednesday. The airline also shared a list of flights scheduled for tomorrow (March 19). Following the latest update from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, flight operations to and from Dubai have resumed with effect from 1600 hours (DXB local time) on 18 March 2026,” the airline stated.. “As part of ongoing efforts to reunite customers with their loved ones, flights mentioned in below table are scheduled to operate tomorrow, in line with prevailing safety conditions and necessary regulatory approvals,” it added. We appreciate your patience and understanding,” it added. IndiGo’s announcement came after a disruption of flights triggered due to the escalating conflict in the Middle East. Notably, flight operations are gradually improving with additional services being introduced between India and the Middle East region, according to an official statement issued on Wednesday.
In the UAE, around 70 flights reportedly operated on March 17, and about 75 flights are expected on Wednesday to various destinations in India. According to reports, over 50 flights have been operating daily since March 5, indicating improved connectivity.
Meanwhile, flights continue to operate from Saudi Arabia and Oman to India. The Qatar airspace remains partially open. Five flights operated on Tuesday, and services to nine Indian destinations were announced from Wednesday. However, the Kuwait airspace has remained closed since February 28, the day when the conflict started.
