Bengaluru Power Cut Today: Several areas across Bengaluru are expected to face a 7-hour-long power outage on Monday (December 22), starting at 10 AM. This
is because the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) is scheduled to carry out maintenance work for better electricity supply. The power disruption will affect more than 15 areas across Bengaluru, including Kambipura, Golahalli, Devager,e and more.

Why the Power Cut Is Being Carried Out?
According to BESCOM, the outage is part of routine maintenance and infrastructure strengthening, including repair of underground cables, transformer-related works, and upgrades to improve reliability. Officials said the planned shutdowns are necessary to ensure a smoother power supply in the coming days, especially as demand fluctuates during the winter period.
