The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has opened the selective edit window forNEET PG 2026, allowing candidates to fix document-related
issues in their application forms. The correction facility will remain available till August 10, 2026. This window is specifically for candidates whose photographs, signatures, or left thumb impressions were found deficient during scrutiny. The candidates are required to upload fresh, correct images within the given deadline. NBEMS has made it clear that failure to do so will result in rejection of the application. The board has also underlined that this is a limited correction window and candidates will not be able to make any changes to their personal details, academic information, category, test city preferences, or any other part of theNEET PG 2026 form.
Steps to CorrectNEET PG 2026 Images
The candidates are advised to follow the steps below to update their images;
- Visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in
- Log in using your user ID and password
- Go to the dashboard and click on the image scrutiny tab
- Upload fresh images for the sections that have been flagged, following the specifications mentioned in the information bulletin
- Submit the changes and download the confirmation page for future reference
Image Upload Guidelines Candidates Must Follow
NBEMS has also laid down clear instructions for uploading images in the application form:
- Candidates must upload a real-time photograph captured using a webcam or built-in camera while filling the form, along with a recent colour photograph that is not older than three months
- The photograph should be taken against a plain white background and must clearly show the full face, ears, neck, and shoulders in a frontal view
- Applicants should maintain a neutral expression, keep their eyes open, and look directly at the camera while wearing formal attire
- Items such as spectacles, caps, goggles, stethoscopes, makeup, or ornaments are not allowed in the photograph
For signatures:
- The signature must be written in blue or black ink on a plain white sheet
- It should fit within a 3.5 cm × 1.5 cm box
- It should not consist of initials alone or be written in capital letters
- The same rules apply to the left thumb impression
- All images must be uploaded in .jpg or .jpeg format, with the file size kept below 80 KB
