Former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee launched a sharp attack on the BJP over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, accusing
the party of looting Bengal and vowing not to surrender. Calling Bengal a "victim of the circumstances of this SIR", Banerjee said, "We will not give up. We will give our lives, we will fight, but we will not surrender. They looted our Bengal. We will save democracy and bring it back. We will take revenge through politics. We will take revenge through democracy. We will fight." In another sharp attack on the BJP, Banerjee accused the party of looting funds and properties, including money linked to Ram Janmabhoomi and Waqf properties. She also alleged that the police had become the BJP's "comrades", accusing the ruling party at the Centre of using law enforcement agencies for political work. "The BJP has no organisation of its own. That is why they make the police do party work. Agencies don't work with the BJP. The BJP will go," she said.

Mamata Banerjee also took a swipe at the BJP and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar by giving the popular nursery rhyme 'Johny Johny Yes Papa' a political twist, using it to target the ongoing SIR exercise and raise slogans against the poll body and the BJP government.
In her modified version of the rhyme, Banerjee chanted, "Gyanesh Vanish, Yes Papa", followed by "Vote Chori, Yes Papa". She also called for the resignation and removal of Gyanesh Kumar, while repeating "Save democracy" and "Save India" before ending with "Gyanesh Kumar? No, Papa" and "BJP government? No, Papa."
The INDIA bloc launched its 'Chalo Dilli' mega protest march in Delhi on Sunday, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Akhilesh Yadav, and Mamata Banerjee, led thousands of supporters towards the Ramlila Maidan.
