An explosion near Lal Qila Metro Station Gate No. 1 in Delhi on Monday (Nov 10) triggered a fire that spread to three nearby vehicles, officials said.
Injuries are feared in the blast, with nine feared dead. Following the blast, the fire department rushed seven tenders after they received the call at 6:55 pm. Moreover, 15 CAT ambulances, along with a team from the Delhi Police Special Cell reached the spot. The cause of the explosion remains unknown, and authorities are investigating the incident. According to the government sources, there has been no confirmation of a terror attack yet. The fire has now been controlled.

People injured and feared dead in the blast have been brought to the LNJP hospital, sources told ANI news agency.
