The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a clarification against claims of students stating that the portal for re-evaluation and obtaining
answer sheets is not working properly. CBSE has stated that the online application portal for obtaining scanned copies of Class 12 answer books is functioning properly and many students have already registered their requests. "The online application portal for obtaining scanned copies of Class XII answer books is now functioning smoothly, and applications are being submitted successfully," CBSE stated in a tweet. CBSE also revealed that over 1. 27 lakh students have already registered their requests to obtain 3.87 lakh scanned answer sheets. This data was registered till 7:30 pm of May 20. "1,27,146 applications for obtaining 3,87,399 scanned answer books were submitted successfully by 7:30 pm on 20.05.26, that is, within 3 hours of the portal being opened," CBSE stated in their tweet. The Board has also reshared the link through which students can apply for obtaining scanned copies of class 12 answer sheets. The link is: pvr.cbseit.in/pvr/ CBSE also advised students to have patience and keep trying if the portal doesn't work at the first try. "Due to sudden traffic on the portal, some users may experience temporary delays, particularly in payment status updates. Students are advised not to submit repeated requests," CBSE stated.
