An Air India Express passenger alleged that one of the airline's pilots physically assaulted him, leaving him bleeding over a dispute about some staff
members allegedly cutting the queue at the security checkpoint at Delhi International Airport. The man alleged that he was assaulted by a captain, identified as Virender Sejwal, near the security area of Terminal 1, an incident he claimed left him bleeding and traumatised his seven-year-old daughter, who witnessed the altercation.
Here's What Happened
According to Dewan, the dispute broke out after he objected to some staff members allegedly cutting the queue at the security checkpoint. He claimed the pilot abused him verbally before assaulting him physically.
"He even asked me if I was anpadh (uneducated), and couldn't read the signs that said this entry was for staff," the man wrote in his social media post. He further alleged, "Not able to exercise restraint, the AIX pilot proceeded to physically assault me, leaving me bloody. The blood in the photograph (first comment) on his shirt is also mine."
