A bomb threat was reported at Yorba Linda High School on Wednesday morning, prompting a swift response from law enforcement and school officials. Deputies
from OCSD – Yorba Linda Police Services responded to the campus and began investigating what authorities described as suspicious circumstances. In a statement to families, the school’s principal said that OCSD conducted a proactive sweep of the main campus and was continuing to search the pool and athletic fields. Students were instructed to shelter in place while the investigation remained ongoing. “The school is currently sheltering in place and students are not being released at this time,” OCSD – Yorba Linda Police Services said in a post on Facebook. Authorities also urged the public to avoid the area while deputies work to complete their investigation. Officials said updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
