A United Airlines flight experienced a mechanical issue while landing at Orlando International Airport in Florida on Sunday afternoon, briefly disrupting
operations at the airport. United Flight 2323, which had departed Chicago O’Hare International Airport at 08:55 local time, landed in Orlando at about 12:35, according to the airline. Following touchdown, the aircraft encountered what United described as a "mechanical issue", which left it unable to clear the runway. Airport officials said the plane blocked the runway while the situation was addressed, and passengers were later transported to the terminal by bus.

In a statement, United Airlines said there were 200 passengers and six crew members on board. No injuries were reported.
"United teams are working to remove the aircraft from the runway," the airline said, adding that the cause of the mechanical problem had not yet been determined.
The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) briefly issued a ground stop at Orlando International Airport because of the incident. This was later downgraded to a ground delay.
The FAA said some flights to and from Orlando were experiencing delays as a result, according to its National Airspace System Status database.
An investigation into the incident is expected, although no further details were immediately available.
