PM Modi in Mumbai: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Mumbai, the city traffic police has announced temporary traffic restrictions in parts
of Goregaon East to manage vehicular flow. This comes as PM Modi is scheduled to attend the Maritime Leaders Conclave and chair the Global Maritime CEO Forum at India Maritime Week 2025 on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. The Jogeshwari Traffic Division issued the advisory, urging residents to avoid some routes and take alternative routes during PM Modi’s visit.
Mumbai Traffic Alert: Date and Timings
Date: October 27. 2025 to October 31, 2025
Time: 8 am to 10 pm
Mumbai Traffic Alert: No Entry Routes
Vehicles will be restricted from entering the road from Mrinalatai Gore Junction to NESCO Gate. Moreover, the right-turn route from Ram Mandir Road to NESCO Gate will also be closed.
The service lane from Hub Mall to NESCO or Jaycoach Junction will be closed to all traffic.

The road from NESCO Gate to Mrinalatai Gore Junction has been made one-way.

If you’re coming from Ram Mandir Road, take Mrinaltai Gore Flyover, Mahananda Dairy Western Express Highway (WEH) South Service Road, Jaycoach Junction and JVLR Junction.
If you’re coming from JVLR, proceed towards Powai via JVLR Road or towards Mumbai via the WEH Service Road leading to the main WEH.
India Maritime Week
The five-day India Maritime Week was inaugurated on Monday, October 27, by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. It aims to position India as a global maritime power.
The event is expected to draw top international maritime leaders, policy makers and investors.
The traffic police have urged the residents to plan their journeys in advance, to avoid traffic jams.
