The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB), Jaipur, is conducting the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) Mains 2025 exam today. The sarkari
exam is being conducted for primary and upper primary school teacher recruitment. As scheduled, the exam has started today, and the last exam will be conducted on January 21. Lakhs of candidates are competing to fill over 7000 vacancies. The shift 1 is over, and candidates who appeared in the exam found it to be of moderate difficulty. The exam is being conducted in offline mode using an OMR-based format. The paper consists entirely of multiple-choice questions, with a total of 150 questions carrying 300 marks, meaning each question is worth two marks. The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes. The question paper is divided into multiple subject sections. Rajasthan Geography, History and Culture carries 40 questions for 80 marks. General Knowledge of Rajasthan and Educational Psychology and Policies have 25 questions each, carrying 50 marks per section. Language sections include Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Sindhi, and Punjabi, while Social Studies and Mathematics and Science together account for 60 questions carrying 120 marks.
