Who said one can ONLY do the iconic ‘aura farming’ dance trend on a boat- racing against the rest of the boats in a river? Sometimes, with a little bit
of out-of-the-box imagination, one can farm some aura in the middle of a flooded street as well. THIS Mumbai man seemingly understood the same- quite well. A hilarious video was shared on social media, which showed a Mumbai man living to the fullest! The man- completely drenched in rainwater- was seen performing the hit ‘aura farming’ dance steps while standing on a submerged divider in a street. But wait, he wasn’t done at that- after acing the trend- he moved on to JUMP into the flooded road with a foam mattress under him- much like how people usually do in water parks! The clip went viral in an instant, gaining several reactions. Some found the man’s spirit inspiring, while the rest took the opportunity to chastise the city’s ‘failing drainage system’. The credit for the ‘aura farming’ trend, on the other hand, goes to Indonesia’s Rayyan Arkan Dikha, an 11-year-old boy. Multiple videos of the young talent- nonchalantly killing it with some unique dance steps- while standing on the edge of a racing boat were shared online, which went viral and turned him into an overnight sensation. The race in question was the Pacu Jalur boat race, which is part of Indonesia’s culture and tradition. Dikha, on the other hand, had participated in the race as ‘Togak Luan’- a ‘symbolic dancer’ responsible for hyping up the racers through such rhythms.

Here’s how netizens are reacting:
“When foreigners do then it's cool and when we do it then it's cringe , that is so hypocritical, there are people who would die out complaining about the rain and there is this man who is finding out the best of it to live life to the fullest , RESPECT!” a user said.
