A bomb threat was reported on an IndiGo flight operating from Lucknow to Bengaluru on Wednesday after cabin crew members allegedly found a note mentioning
a bomb as the aircraft was approaching Bengaluru for landing. Sources told Times Now that the crew immediately alerted the pilot, following which the relevant authorities were informed. The flight, IndiGo 6E321, landed safely at Bengaluru airport at around 9:40 am. A bomb squad is currently at the airport and security protocols are being followed. The aircraft is being inspected, and after clearance from the authorities, it is expected to resume its scheduled service. Bomb Threats To Delhi Schools Earlier this month, multiple schools in Delhi were targeted with bomb threat messages, leading security agencies and emergency response teams to launch precautionary checks across the campuses. Authorities immediately implemented safety measures and evacuated students and staff while searches were conducted. Delhi Police said no suspicious object had been recovered during the checks. Bomb disposal teams, sniffer dog squads, local police personnel and fire service officials were deployed at the affected schools. Security teams inspected various parts of the premises, including classrooms, offices and open areas, as officials worked to establish the origin of the threatening messages. Police said the threats were received by several schools and triggered the standard emergency response. Authorities appealed to parents and students to remain calm and follow information issued through official channels. Lucknow-Delhi IndiGo Flight Receives Bomb Threat A similar scare was reported in June when an IndiGo flight scheduled to travel from Lucknow to Delhi was delayed following a bomb threat shortly before departure. The alert was triggered after a handwritten message claiming that a bomb was present on the aircraft was reportedly discovered on a tissue inside the plane’s lavatory after passengers had boarded. The crew immediately informed airport authorities, prompting the activation of security protocols. The incident involved IndiGo flight 6E 2111, which was scheduled to fly from Lucknow to Delhi. Sources said the threat was reported at around 11:47 am, after which the Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) and other security agencies were alerted.
