Flights Status Tracker Today: Amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Air India and Air India Express will together be operating a total of 58 scheduled
and non-scheduled flights to and from the region on March 12. According to a press release, both airlines will operate one non-scheduled round-trip flight each to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia from Mumbai and Kozhikode, respectively. The two carriers will also operate their respective scheduled services to and from Jeddah and Muscat with a total of 10 flights to and from Jeddah, and 08 scheduled flights to and from Muscat operated by Air India Express. Additionally, Air India will operate one round-trip from Delhi and two round-trips from Mumbai to Jeddah, while Air India Express will operate one round-trip each from Bengaluru and Kozhikode to Jeddah. Air India Express will also operate its scheduled services to Muscat, including one round-trip each from Delhi and Mumbai and two round-trips from Kozhikode. In addition to the scheduled services, Air India and Air India Express would operate a total of 40 non-scheduled flights to and from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia, subject to the availability of slots and other prevailing conditions at the departure stations at the time. These flights are being operated with the requisite permissions from the relevant Indian and local regulatory authorities.

IndiGo on Wednesday said it will operate flights to nine destinations across West Asia on Thursday, along with select routes to Europe, as it gradually restores services in the Gulf region. In a travel advisory, the airline said the flights will operate subject to prevailing safety conditions and necessary regulatory approvals, as the carrier continues to coordinate closely with relevant authorities.
"IndiGo continues to coordinate closely with the relevant authorities to progressively restore its flight operations across the Middle East, helping customers reconnect with their loved ones and proceed with their travel plans," the airline posted on X.
Delhi Airport's latest advisory
Meanwhile, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has advised international passengers to check the latest updates with respective airlines amid schedule changes in westbound flights due to the situation in West Asia.
Issuing an advisory, DIAL wrote, "Due to the current geopolitical developments in the Middle East, some westbound international flights may see delays or schedule changes. Passengers are advised to check the latest updates with their respective airlines before heading to the airport."
Tensions remain high as the conflict in West Asia enters Day 12 after the US and Israel's joint strike killed Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and top leadership on February 28. Tehran, in response, attacked Israel and US military assets in the region.
