Hours after US President Donald Trump claimed that he is "number 1 on Iran's kill list", the journalists travelling aboard Air Force One were asked to
keep the window blinds shut during the flight. Explaining the precautionary measure, Trump said, "Because you are probably on a dangerous flight. These (Iranians) are sick people." The US President further claimed that he faces constant threats to his safety, adding, "I have a threat all the time. I'm number one on their list." "But if I go, you go," Trump said in the same vein as he also said the press may want to switch professions. The US President's remarks came while he was interacting with the media aboard Air Force One.

Trump's Surprise Plane Swap
In a surprise move, US President Donald Trump returned from the NATO summit in Turkey aboard the older Air Force One aircraft, abandoning the newly acquired Qatari-gifted presidential jet that he had used to travel to the meeting, amid speculation over possible security concerns.Trump had traveled to Ankara for the summit aboard a new Air Force One jet, a Boeing Co. 747-8, gifted by Qatar; however, the jet he travelled in was sent on ahead of the President’s departure to Mildenhall Air Force Base in the UK. Notably, the US president flew from Ankara to the UK on the older Air Force One.
"We are sending the brand new, and truly spectacular, Air Force One to Mildenhall Air Force Base, in the United Kingdom, to give them a chance to tour the Aircraft," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
"For old time's sake, we'll be taking the former Air Force One, from Turkey to Mildenhall, a short trip that is totally worth doing in order to give our Great Military Heroes a chance to appreciate our beautiful new addition to the Air Force Fleet!" he added.
The aircraft change came amid Trump's repeated claims that he is facing threats from Iran following renewed US military strikes.
‘US-Iran Ceasefire Is Over’
Trump, while speaking during the NATO Summit on Wednesday, said that the ceasefire agreed upon between the US and Iran was "over", as far as he is concerned. He later warned that the United States would intensify its military action against Iran if Tehran continued attacking commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.Trump also claimed that Iran had called him asking to make a deal after the repeated US strikes in the region. "They called a little while ago, they want to make a deal so badly," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One en route back from the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey. "I just don't know if they’re worthy of making a deal."
