The Punjab Government has announced a change in school timings from next week. Punjab Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, announced today (May 22) that school timings for
all classes will be changed from May 25, 2026 (Monday). As per the revised timings, schools will now operate from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm only. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the increasing heat across the state. "Keeping the heat in mind, from Monday, May 25, the timings of government offices and all schools, for all classes, will be from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM," Mann tweeted on his official 'X' account.
