The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has revised the examination schedule for Term-End Examinations (TEE) for the December session. As per
the updated schedule, the exams will be held from December 1 to January 14, 2026, in both pen-and-paper and CBT modes. To appear for the semester tests, candidates have to fill out the examination form for Online Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes through exam.ignou.ac.in. “Online link for submission of the examination form (TEE, project submission, and Practical Examinations) by eligible students for the December 2025 Term-End Examination is already open,” the official notification stated. Candidates who have registered on the student portal can fill out the examination form by logging in, whereas those who haven't registered yet must do so by providing basic details and then proceed with exam form. Applicants have until October 6 (without a late fee) to fill out the form. Afterwards, they will have to pay a late fee of Rs. 1,100 for submissions made by October 20, 2025. Those appearing for practical or lab courses, including the BLIS program, must contact their regional center for the venue and schedule of exams. “In view of filling the Examination Form through the Samarth Portal, no request for change of examination centre will be entertained. The courses once opted for will not be changed after submitting the Examination Form,” the official notice added.
