The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an advisory for candidates on how to raise grievances. The testing agency said it receives a large number
of grievances every day, but many complaints do not contain basic details required to identify the candidate. Due to this, NTA's advisory reiterated that every candidate who raises grievance regarding any exam conducted by NTA should ensure that all basic details such as registered email ID, application number, name of the exam etc. NTA reminded students that the absence of information such as the application number and examination name makes it difficult for officials to trace individual candidates among lakhs of applicants, which can lead to delay in resolution. "NTA receives a large volume of grievances every day through email and social media. Many of these, unfortunately, do not carry basic identifying details, making it very difficult for our team to trace the candidate amongst lakhs of applicants and respond in a timely manner," the testing agency tweeted on 'X'. Further, NTA has listed a few pointers that candidates should keep in mind while raising grievances to ensure the concern reaches the right desk and is addressed at the earliest. These important points are:
- Write from your registered email ID (the one used at the time of application)
- Mention your Application Number in the subject line
- Clearly state the name of the Examination concerned
- Describe your issue briefly and attach supporting screenshots/documents, if any
- Send it to the dedicated helpdesk email for that specific examination, available on the respective exam's information bulletin and official website
"NTA is fully committed to addressing every candidate's concern with fairness and diligence. A little clarity from your side helps us serve you better and faster," NTA further tweeted.
NTA clarified that the dedicated helpdesk email addresses are available in the respective examination's information bulletin and official website.
