Uttarakhand Rain: Dehradun Worst Affected
-Fresh cloudbursts and torrential rains left 15 people dead and 16 missing, while more than 900 people were stranded across the state.
-Thirteen deaths were reported in Dehradun, including eight from Uttar Pradesh who drowned when their tractor-trolley was swept away in the Tons River.

-As many as 655 roads, including stretches of national highways, were shut, while 1,250 power transformers and 160 water supply schemes were hit.
-The capital recorded 142 mm of rainfall in 12 hours, triggering landslides that buried several vehicles and blocked the city's main circular road.
-Since June 20, Himachal has reported 417 deaths, 45 missing, and damages worth Rs 4,504 crore, making this one of the state’s worst monsoon seasons.
